STjERN Corporation, Inc. was formed in late 2005 after its founders discovered that their protection beam testing provided amazing results. We are now manufacturing and shipping defendadoor beams across the United States and abroad.

The inventor, Edward J. Stern Jr. worked in the Pacific Northwest, and provided many years of consultating and design for several types of processing plants and construction projects prior to starting the Stjern Corporation.

Invention Conception

Over the years, I have witnessed somewhat of a dilemma throughout the shipping and warehousing industry. This often occurs between managers wanting top speed production without damage and expense to their shipping doors, and employees striving to meet that productivity, while at the same time, often making costly mistakes. After consulting with and interviewing both forklift operators and facilities managers, I was able to gain a better perspective of the problem. Subsequently, their requests for some sort of solution was the basis for my development of the "defendadoor" that is currently on the market today.

The defendadoor door protectors are made out of the highest quality materials available today and are manufacture in the United States. I feel that our device provides the best protection for commercial overhead doors today, and after you have one installed you don't need to do anything special to make it work, take my word for it.
